- Suggested grades 3 through 8 (for the next school year 2016-17)
- Suggested completion of Suzuki Book 2 or equivalent proficiency
- Required completion of Suzuki Book 1 or equivalent proficiency
- Required ability to read music
- Required to either currently have a private teacher or to have previously had private lessons; contact David for exception

What Does the Tuition Include?
- Placement into a level-appropriate chamber music ensemble for your child
- Repertoire Selection made by David Ormai for a level-appropriate experience
- 6 hour-long coachings (either by David Ormai or other chamber music teacher)
- 5 social activities for your child to socialize with fellow chamber music friends
- 3 topic-specific workshops to build musicianship skills
- One informal performance opportunity
- One formal performance opportunity (final recital)
- Participants may only participate in one chamber music group this summer
- Participants must attend all the final recital
- If you’d like to register, but have conflicts with summer music camp or other out of town commitments, please email David at [email protected] to discuss if registration is appropriate
- Participation in social activities is not a requirement, but strongly encouraged
- Participants must work with teacher & other chamber music group members to schedule 6 coachings. Must complete all 6 coachings between June 19 and July 30. If coachings are not completed by July 30, your group forfeits the coachings in the future. It is recommended to space the coachings out once per week, but not required.
- All coachings will take place at the location to be decided by the coach.
- Tuition must be received no later than June 19 to participate. If this poses difficulty, or you would like to request an alternate payment plan, please contact David no later than June 19.
- Tuition will not be refundable under any circumstances with the exception of the following:
- severe injury or illness or family emergency
- cancellation on David's behalf of the summer chamber music program due to low enrollment
- Behavior problems will not be tolerated. If your child cannot cooperate or follow instructions from teachers, then they will receive a warning. Persistent behavior problems will result in dismissal from the program without refund of tuition.
